Welcome to Sunland Bricks! Here’s the short version of how we work:

  • Where we deliver – We ship anywhere in New Zealand and Australia.
  • Prices – All prices include GST. We charge in NZ Dollars.
  • Payment & orders – Your order is confirmed when we email you to say it’s accepted. We take payment when we accept your order.
  • Change of mind – We don’t accept returns just because you’ve changed your mind (LEGO collectors will understand why!).
  • Faulty items – If something’s wrong with your product, you’re covered under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
  • Missing LEGO pieces – LEGO NZ will send missing or damaged parts free of charge—you can claim directly through them.
  • Box condition – We pack carefully, but courier transit may cause box dents or creases. Collectors wanting mint boxes should consider pickup.
  • Order cancellation – You can cancel for free before we dispatch your order. After that, cancellations are only possible under NZ consumer law.
  • Security checks – We sometimes verify delivery and payment details to protect against fraud.

Terms and Conditions of Use


1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use this site or place an order.


2. Contract, Payment and Delivery (New Zealand & Australia)

  • Orders are accepted by Sunland Bricks, located in Christchurch, New Zealand.
  • All payments must be made in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
  • Any contract arising from the use of this site is governed by the laws of New Zealand.
  • We deliver only within New Zealand and Australia.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) or the Fair Trading Act 1986 (FTA).

3. Product Availability

  • Products may be added to or removed from the website at any time without notice.
  • We will make reasonable efforts to keep product information accurate and up to date.
  • While we take care to ensure accuracy, we do not accept liability for unavailability but will contact you promptly if your order cannot be fulfilled.

4. Use of Cookies

  • Some pages on this site use cookies for identification, registration, and customisation purposes.
  • Cookies do not read data from your hard drive.
  • Your browser may allow you to block cookies; however, doing so may limit the site’s functionality.

5. Orders, Prices and Payment

  • All prices include Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless otherwise stated.
  • Prices may change at any time without prior notice, but confirmed orders will not be affected.
  • When you place an order via our website, you make an offer to purchase. This offer is accepted when we confirm your order in writing.
  • We take payment at the time of acceptance.

6. Order Confirmation & Communication

  • You will receive an email confirming acceptance of your order. Once accepted, the order cannot be cancelled except as permitted below.
  • We may contact you by email, phone, or text message about your order or account.

7. Order Cancellation & Returns

  • Before dispatch: You may cancel your order at any time before goods are dispatched and receive a full refund.
  • After dispatch: Orders cannot be cancelled once shipped, except where permitted under the CGA.
  • Change of mind: Due to the nature of LEGO products (sealed packaging and collectible value), we do not accept returns for change of mind.
  • Faulty products: If an item is faulty, you are entitled to a remedy under the CGA, which may include repair, replacement, or refund.
  • Missing or damaged LEGO parts: LEGO New Zealand provides a free replacement service for missing or damaged parts through lego.com/en-nz.

8. Right to Refuse or Cancel Orders

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including after acceptance, if:

  • There is a pricing or product description error;
  • We suspect fraud or unauthorised use of payment details;
  • Delivery details cannot be verified.

If we cancel an accepted order, you will be refunded in full.


9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of this website or its content.
    • This includes, without limitation, loss resulting from:
    • Errors or inaccuracies on the site;
    • Unauthorised access to our secure servers;
    • Service interruptions or technical failures.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your statutory rights.

10. Routine Security Checks

  • We may contact purchasers to verify order details and perform security checks where an order triggers a security alert.
  • We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order we reasonably believe to be fraudulent.

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
