Full Delivery & Returns Policy

Delivery

Processing Time

Orders are generally dispatched within two (2) working days after receipt of payment.

Couriers & Address Type

We ship via New Zealand Post, Aramex, or Pass the Parcel. Please select the correct shipping option (rural or non-rural) based on your address. Incorrect selection may delay dispatch. You can verify your address type at addresscheck.co.nz.

If the wrong shipping option is selected, we will either refund any overpayment or request additional payment before dispatch.

Delivery Area

We deliver to addresses in New Zealand and Australia. Delivery timeframes vary by courier, destination, and rural status.

Tracking

A tracking link will be provided via email once your order has been dispatched.

Separate Shipments

We may deliver items in your order separately for supply or logistical reasons. You will not incur extra delivery costs if we split your shipment.

LEGO Box Condition in Transit

We take care to pack securely. However, courier handling can occasionally result in cosmetic wear (e.g., minor dents or creases) to LEGO boxes and in rare cases may suffer serious damage such as a broken box. Collectors seeking pristine boxes are encouraged to choose Christchurch pick-up.

Where serious box damage occurs during courier delivery, we will assist with a courier damage claim where possible, but any compensation is at the courier’s discretion. This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 if the product itself (the LEGO pieces) is defective.

Returns

Change of Mind

Due to the nature of LEGO products (sealed packaging and collectible value), we do not accept returns for change of mind.

Missing or Damaged LEGO Parts

LEGO New Zealand provides a free replacement service for missing or damaged elements. Claims can be lodged directly with LEGO NZ, and replacements are sent free of charge.

Faulty Products (Your Rights under NZ Law)

If a product is faulty, unsafe, or does not match its description, you may be entitled to a remedy under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA). Depending on the circumstances, this may include repair, replacement, or refund. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the CGA or the Fair Trading Act 1986.

Return Procedure for Faulty Items

  • Contact us as soon as possible (ideally within 7 days of delivery) with your order number and a description/photos of the issue.
  • We’ll assess the issue and advise the next steps (e.g., return label, inspection, or direct part replacement via LEGO NZ).
  • Where the item is confirmed faulty under the CGA, return shipping is at our cost. Otherwise, return shipping may be at the buyer’s cost.

This policy is designed to comply with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986. Nothing here limits any non-excludable rights you have under New Zealand law.
